Hello everyone, I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to exclude transparent materials from the render element CShading_RawComponent.

In the element every glass material is completely black, while I need to see across them.

Actually this happens also with very reflective materials (mirror, chrome etc.), so I'm maybe doing something wrong.

Thanks,

ITM

If you'll start to exclude objects/materials from certain CShading render elements, you'll no longer be able to compose final image, that would be exactly identical to beauty pass. Can you tell what are you trying to achieve?

Since the glass in the raw component is black, when I do post production I am forced to mask it. I think this is a waste of time and I want to solve the problem at the root.

There is more than one raw component. Some surfaces are black in the diffuse raw component, but have information in the reflection or refraction raw component.
