I just signed up to Corona for a month as both Redshift and Octane were struggling on a complex label render I'm creating.

I'm doing fine creating materials etc, but can't see them previewed in the c4d windows - is this not possible? do you have to use the VFB? If so I would call that a major flaw!

Are you referring to the thumbnail previews in the material editor? If so, does re-rendering the materials help? If I'm off-topic, please let me know. ;)

no they are fine - it's the preview of materials applied to objects in the perspective view that aren't working

i.e. the open gl previews of materials

does this not work with Corona? I need it to position graphics accurately etc without using the interactive renderer

each material has a viewport preview size drop down, but changing that does nothing

well, OGL viewport's interconnection with 3rd party apps is in the hands of Maxon
workaround by using c4d default shaders, then apply same mapping to Corona's materials
