I don't like this coloured version. There's a nice program for post processing called CameraBag, has lots of filters with node interface. 30-day free trial.

Nice leather shader. How did you achieve this leather-ish reflection?

Hi, thanks... Thanks for the tip.. But the post looks how, it looks cause I'm still finding my way how to do post "manually" with ps and gimp and lightroom cause in past I've heavily relied on "universal" tools and presets that solve these things for you and I really want to get that under control.. But yeah, right now it looks more like "out of control" here and there... :D here's the leather setup... pretty much just a painted 4k map mixed with seamless patterns, using the awesome corona mix texture :D.

Thanks, I think it's Fresnel@1,5 I've been looking for. This "oily" reflection effect.

I'm no master at anything (yet ;) ) but I've learned that when I apply certain postprocessing I usually make it far too "heavy". It's because if you stare at something for too long you just stop noticing subtle changes. So it's usually good to set your levels/curves/color balance or whatever adjustment layers you are using to 50% opacity or less and take breaks from time to time. I don't want to sound like a smartass, or maybe it's obvious, just sharing some thoughts.

Yes that's so true... Actually this brings me a thought. Fryrender had this feature with camera response curve presets applied on a rendering. The same ones that free soft "motiva realcamera" has... Wouldn't it be nice to have those in postproduction settings directly in max? With a well and relatively realisticaly set up scene you could maybe go away with that level of postproduction to get realistic looking results. And still consider the render to be a raw corona output :)
