Hey all!

Is it a normal amount of noise for Noise level 2.75%? (the limit was set to 3%)

I've turned off the denoise on purpose. It definitely makes things better, but isn't it still too noisy for 2.75?
The main light source is white single map, but the noise is coming from two other sources as you can see it. Both native Coronian.

The window glass is removed from GI. No bump in any mats. The picture is from beauty pass (not a light mix). 3ds Max, Corona 4.0. None of the default settings were changed.

Am I doing something wrong, or it's a normal noise amount for 3% without denoiser? Thnx!

Looks pretty normal to me. On the other hand, i think that noise perception is highly subjective thing, if you're sensitive to noise, it may look too much noisy, if you're less sensitive, like me, then it will look ok. If 3% looks too noisy for you, then let it render longer, or use denoiser. There's no hard rule, that would say that 3% should look clean as a whistle. Different scenes will have different noise percentage treshold at which your brain will decide that the image is "clean", so you shouldn't look at certain number as a hard rule, but more as a guidance. Hope that helps.
