Getting a slightly contrasted bitmap when using the corona bitmap map compared to the standard max bitmap map and viewing on the screen via bridge?
Anyone else got this problem, see attachment.
Max 2016 + Corona V3

Thanks
Troy

You should compare these at 100% if you don't already. If these are scaled down for display, it's likely different filtering that could cause a sharper or softer appearance depending on what the software uses.

Yes these are at 100%, any other ideas.
I have checked the gamma in the defaultsettings.ini files as well and it seems normal (2.2, 2.2).

If you, or any could give it a go, that would be great.
Attached is the bitmap?

Ok thanks, I am seeing the difference when you hit the "View Image" button in the bitmap map.
Then zoom into it A 1:1.

They match in the slate editor preview here as well, so not sure which one the material actually uses, the slate editor preview or the "View Image" preview?

If you could please try the "View Image" button?

Maybe... Bridge uses a different profile for viewing, something else than system sRGB which 3dsmax uses?

Yes maybe, but you can see the difference between the standard max bitmap map, and the corona bitmap map.

update: The over material is the same so must be a viewing thing.

Thanks for the help

Indeed, preview through "view image", gives different look between native and Corona bitmap loaders, but they renders exactly the same, so i'm not sure if it's worth to report it as a bug. Does precise preview is important to you? Which one do you think is correct, Corona bitmap or native bitmap?
