Open scene created with version 4 in corona 3

Hi guys,

I have a doubt, I need to update few visuals for a client which work in corona render 3 and I have already installed on my machine the version 4 so I was wondering when I will send everything back if  it is possible to open in max and corona render 3 a scene created with the version 4?

I wouldn't count on it. It might work, but more likely it won't. In any case, it would be much safer for you to install V3, do the job for the client and switch back to V4.

It's not guaranteed - while we work hard to guarantee older versions will open in the newer, the other way round is not always possible due to new parameters, new functionality etc. It will depend on the scene, what features it used etc. as to how successful that is.

Also though, it should be possible to ensure that Corona 4 renders exactly the same as Corona 3 - things like New media resolving will have a pop up and you can choose to not use it, and in that way keep the Corona 3 scene rendering identically in Corona 4.
