hey all,

rendered a test interior animation over night.
Camera movement and fridge door opening in an interior kitchen

Came in this morning and render is only half way through 90 frames out of 180 total after 18 hours of rendering.

I'm running C4D R20 & Corona V4 latest daily build.
using Sun/sky and HDRI.

res= 1920 x 1080 @ 72 DPI

Noise level limit is set to 5% (even a bit noisy still)
Denoising set to high quality = 0.55

rendering to PNG sequence, 16 bit

My machine is-
AMD threadripper 2950x 16 core
RTX 2080 Ti
64GB ram

Do these render times look normal?
Seem to be way to high for just 6 seconds of animation which is still noisy.

Any ideas?

First frame of animation attached for reference

I've noticed you're inside, behind the glass. And, if you ain't using "Thin (no refraction)" option with it, that would explain both, noise & long render times.

Hi.
Yes, I've got thin (no refraction) turned on on all glass materials.
Also got portals in use.

tried another test with different materials on the kitchen island and cabinets. Much simpler, no bump.

Still very long over night render times, high noise and incomplete render
