Hello,

Is there a seperate Falloff option to use with Corona AO map or a way to accomplish this task? I would like to crank up the Z directional offset to 10 (max) and then use a falloff to make the gradient more subtle at the edge. Now it just abruptly ends, and I see no way to just handle this from inside Corona AO. Maybe I am missing something.

Regarding Corona distance map, at the moment it is quite limited in using it extensively; it creates a lot of artifacts when using several objects on one plane/object.

Also could you please please change the obnoxious red watermarks when there is no distance object in the list, instead just put that as an error into the error log window? It is really frustrating when one forgets/misplaces the distance object, sets the distance map at low opacity, and then has that stamp all over the object in the final render only visible up quite close... especially when rendering close to a deadline...

Unfortunately it is hard for me to imagine what you are describing. Could you please post images of what you are getting right now, and explain what exactly you would like to get?

Which version of Corona are you using? Corona Distance map should work much better in Corona 4.

I don't think there are any plans to remove this feature.

Unfortunately it is hard for me to imagine what you are describing. Could you please post images of what you are getting right now, and explain what exactly you would like to get?

Additional falloff spinner in AO material (like Vray AO if I remember correctly).

Probably because there are more important features to implement, but ATM one should be really carefull with setting distance map to lower visibility.

I have tested out Corona AO different sliders, but I am not getting the result I wish, it is quite counter intuitive to be honest (at least for me).

I need to double check the distance map on the newest build, was testing it out on the previous build to this one, and was getting a lot of nasty artifacts.
