The DRLog file in an appdata folder on a local pc on our network is only showing DRdata from January but we use it every day.
Does the local machine keep a DR Log or is it just on the nodes? Just a query.

ALSO

We are having an issue almost weekly on multiple machines where the nodes on our render farm will parse the scene and constantly try to start the render but never starts.
Restarting them has no effect, restarting the service has no effect and nothing in the troubleshooting guide works and it seems to be fine on other machines but occasionally itll stop working for just one user.
Its very intermittent and happens seemingly at random on files that were rendering fine the day before.

Opening a different file will work fine but the original file has been working fine for weeks.

EDIT: Looking at each node as soon as corona dr slave starts it becomes unresponsive in task manager then once it fails becomes responsive again

Does the local machine keep a DR Log or is it just on the nodes?

DrLog.txt is only used by DrServer.exe. If it is not running on your WS, no data/logs are created.

As for the issue, after a quick look it may be this:

https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=24539.0

and that (linked in the thread above):
https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=15516.0

since the out of range error seems to be caused by the corona post.ms script.

Good Luck

Well thats certainly interesting. So if im understanding correctly i need to unlock the render view in the render settings, go back to the viewport and ensure that my active viewport is the camera im rendering from and then save the file and try to re-render?

Also thank sof rhe info on drserver. I thought it was the case but i didnt know if the local machine held a log of any submission errors.

Looks like. I never had this issue so why not just try it. It would also explain why it works/works not for the very same scene.
