It has often hit me that its foolish that the image proportions are not set on the camera instead of the scene. Think of how you handle your own camera - eventhough you are at the same location you turn your camera to fit the right motif in either portrait or landscape.

Therefore it would me much more logical to me that the image proportions were set pr camera.

One could argue that then it would not be smart for changing resolution for test renders versus final renders as you had to go and do it on all cameras. My suggestion for that is to make a global scene resolution factor - in other words - the proportions are set pr camera - and the resolution is set pr scene.

Does this make sense to other than me ?! :)
All the best,

This is pointless, as you may put each camera in to batch render.

Its just a perk that is not really that handy. It may be usefull at times, but is it worth spending time?
Im not the developer, but Im interested when would you exacly like to use this feature?

I am sorry, but you are barking at the wrong tree - this is 3dsmax behaviour, that I cannot reasonably change. You can propose this to autodesk though
Rendering is magic. How to get minidumps for crashed/frozen 3ds Max | Sorry for short replies, brief responses = more time to develop Corona ;)
