I think that dedicated topic would be much better idea. Simple and clear description with possible reference to this topic, would make life for devs a little bit easier.

If nobody have time for this, i'll try to report it myself, albeit for now, i have no idea what bug you are talking about :/

When I use multiple lights or set the BG color to something lighter than black it still won't work. Also when I set the light source to 0 it does not work. But I tried it on an existing scene and it works in there. So I guess this is solved, thank you for your help!

No, 0 value i meant is another bug, you need to add color to environment and it start to reflect

romullus there is two bugs

All topic is about alpha channel so start IR with alpha channel and change settings

if you open the scene it has black color in environment and one light source, if you lower glossiness in shadowcatcher, the reflection of object disappear in alpha channel, and it will appear again only if you change color in environment or turn off light source.

another bug if you set intensity to light source 0 it start to reflects in alpha
