Hi, this has been asked before, but i didn't find a right solution yet..  I have rendered an interior with lighting and a floor that needs to be changed to a carpet. So i need to keep my shadows for compositing.
No matter what i am unable to render a correct shadow pass. Shadowcatcher isn't working for me in this scene. So how can i change the floor while keeping my shadows? Is there another pass? or how do i save my shadow pass correctly?

Any help would be great!

Could you use Render Selected mode, if you want the actual carpet with shadows but nothing else? (Scene tab of Render Settings, either select carpet object in viewport and use Viewport Selection in the Render selected dropdown, or add any objects to the include / exclude list).
