Hi Guys, apologies if this has been posted before, I had a look and could not find a similar topic demonstrating the same issue. Please look at both screenshots, NOTICE the scrollbar, when i scroll to the bottom, it appears the section that isn't in the viewport does not start rendering until it is. I am using a 2015 Macbook Pro 13" using Cinema 4D R18 & Corona 3

I think it's a feature. At least in 3ds max it acts the same - when you zoom in in VFB during IR, only the visible region is rendered. It helps to faster resolve certain areas of interest.
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.

Hi Romullus, this happens when I use IR and when I do a final render. I cannot render huge images. I can only go as big as my viewport or its severely inconsistent. I mean, I can do 500 passes and then scroll down and let it go for another 500 passes but imagine how inconsistent and unnecessary that is. Must be a work around.

Hi nickolas. Just to make things clear. As Romulus says, this is expected behavior when using IR. With normal render however, this should definitely not happen, and if it does, it's a bug.

In both your title and examples you specifically states IR. So the question is: are you talking about IR, or are you talking about normal render?
