I'd like to start using the node editor more - but there's virtually no instructions/tutorials i can find.

In particular id like to know if it's possible to make a 'layered' material in a single node (ie without the supporting 'base' and 'layer 1' materials in the materials palette).

As a side note, now that we're in a final release there really needs to be more help/tutorials on the correct usage of certain features (Keyshot has a good model for this, where they have a regular (monthly?) webinar on a particular feature or workflow). Something to consider? ;)
