Hi again

In the beta version Corona displayed what's happening in IR as well in the picture viewer with a small delay but I didn't mind that.
Now after I upgraded to C3 the picture viewer stays black until I stop IR, then changes to complete white and only shows the result after I click on another image and back.
PV is rendering the same image though.

Is this a settings issue?

No, it was due to a change to reduce flickering and speed up performance (as continually sending the updated IR to the PV has an overhead). For IR, it is best just to the use the VFB anyway - final renders will work equally well to either, if you have a preference for the native PV, but for IR the Corona VFB would be the way to go (is there any particular reason or benefit for you to having IR in the PV, btw?)

thanks for the quick response.
no, there is no particular reason I just got used to it in my C4D layout and since it changed I was wondering if it's an actual change or a bug or something.

but it doesn't actually matter if I change the default frame buffer in VFB settings to "corona VFB" or "cinema 4d picture viewer"
IR is working in the VFB either way. Doesn't that lower the performance if the PV is working in the background anyway?
or better is there a way to deactivate the Picture Viewer for IR?

thanks anyway :)
