Hi everyone,

I just got corona and I am using the latest version and I downloaded the snow textures from Poliigon's website . For some reason the bump mapping & displacement looks pixelated and very jaggedy. ( I am sorry I don't have the rendering to post but once I get home I can ) . I was wondering if there are any specific setting or material tweaks I need to do ?

I used Poliigon's built in plugin to create the corona material and usually in Vray I had fairly decent result however I wasn't getting the same result in corona.

Please help

It's probably the autobump (https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000050158). If the displacement texture is not good enough (low resolution, low bit depth, etc.), it may produce those jagged edges/pixels.
The solution is to slightly blur the displacement map (as Romullus suggested here: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=18586.msg137149#msg137149) or disable the autobump feature. To disable autobump, go to devel/debug settings (https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000021288) and scroll down to the autobump checkbox.
