DR Says rendering but never returns any passes or updates

Im on corona 2 latest version and in the last few days ive noticed that my farm is increasingly volatile and today has flat out refused to produce anything whatsoever.
The nodes appear in the dr list but do nothing. Any ideas whats going on? Ive tried restarting them all but nothing seems to help actually get them going. the DR tabl just stays like the attached image.

Ive narrowed this down to the dr server service. For some reason if i restart it, theyre fine. But if i stop the drserver process in process explorer and let it start again, that doesnt work. I have to manually restart the service. I see this is resolved in v3.
