It's a known issue. There are some known solutions:
-Update 3ds Max and Windows to the newest versions/patches/hotfixes
-Reset the 3ds Max user files: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Resetting-3ds-Max-3ds-Max-Design.html

It does not seem to be a Corona issue, or at least we do not know how it could be related.
