Hello all.

Im new here and come from Vray for Cinema 4D as a user.  My main interest is realistic portrait work, and am trying to covert one of my Vray scenes over to Corona.  The eye outer shell is pretty much like glass with the inner sphere the Sclara with Iris.  In some renders I do not wish to have GI on for more dramatic lighting and deeper shadows but If I turn off GI the Glass like shell is black.

My question is there a way to have glass with refraction and reflection render without GI?

Thanks, Dan

You can make any material completely invisible to GI by using the rayswitch material. Plug your glass material into the direct, reflection, and refraction slots of the rayswitch, and leave the GI slot empty.
