Hi guys,
I'm making this wip of a pool and I need your help to make it more beautiful, since I'm not as good as you ...
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hi,

I put a little up where I modified some material (wood and floors), applied the sss method to the duck, brought the camera to 1.40cm and resized the image, rotated the hdri and inserted some light bulb. The only thing that still has not managed well is the material of the umbrellas on which I am still working. Finally if I have time left over a couple of day views, I wanted to do some night.

Still nothing PS and VFB

C & C always welcome.

Thank you
Andrea

It's starting to look good, quite "photographic", maybe because of no artificial over-sharpening and over-saturation. It's hard to judge it as a whole right now, because of those unfinished objects (like the umbrella, chairs, etc.).
I would suggest to:
-add some kind of fog - https://help.c4d.corona-renderer.com/support/solutions/articles/12000035577
-randomize grass and tree colors a bit (not sure if there is Corona Multi Map already in C4D :) )
-the duck should be definitely yellow ;)
-the wood materials look ok, but not convincing, maybe they should be more or less reflective? or maybe you can try with different hues, or making the wood darker?

Just some random ideas.

Hi, I agree with Maru that these are coming together nicely. I would consider ditching the SSS on the duck though as it makes it look solid. I think you will get a better look using translucency instead. ;)

I can't check right now but I'll post my settings when I can. You can tweak it from there. I'm C4D too ;)
