Hi,

I tried from some earlier post setting to remove fireflies (metal and diamond scene) but still getting some fireflies after 75 passes. Tired with ray switcher also but no luck. Any other option...?

Thanks.

looks like noise, not fireflies.

If you still have that after 2-3k passes, we'll talk again.

You couldn't post a smaller image, eh ;) -- post the file for troubleshooting or at least make one (same material, same lighting, same settings).

Region render.

Btw, only Corona staff has access to the uploader's files.

I've looked at your file, try lowering the MSI. I did and it rendered perfectly. I did notice you have diffuse enabled for your metal. That's not needed. Another thing that seemed off was the way the grain is running on the ring, you have it up and down but I think it should be parallel.

I wouldn't expect such noise after 75 passes though.
Is there environment + some kind of enviro overrides used in this scene? Unfortunately there is a known issue where persistent noise appears if there is enviro set up and reflections override.

Set MSI to 10 and did till 100 passes, still same... not much difference in earlier and this. Image sent.

Render perfectly, thats nice... can you please send file back in PM.

...

p.s.

I'd try even lower, my test was set to 1 and it rendered perfectly.
