The CoronaLightMtl will work in LightMix, so long as Emit Light is checked. If it isn't checked, then it can't be added to a LightSelect.

Bloom and Glare is entirely dependent on the brightness of the pixel (in high dynamic range) in the final 2D image, and independent of whatever is creating that pixel (it's a purely post effect).

Hope this helps!

Did you add the object to the LigthtSelect? Simply click the arrow in the LightSelect, then the object with the material on it. There's no automatic set up of LightMix yet in C4D, so all has to be added manually.

If it isn't working when you add the object, can you share more details about the scene? Does the object have multiple materials assigned, is it part of a group, is the material layered, etc? Thanks!

NP! Glad you got it working :) An auto setup like in Max would make life easier too of course!

If it emits light it will work in the lightmix. ;) To my knowledge though, the auto setup won't add a sky object. Needs to be added manually. I've already reported this bug. And some c4d lights might make the IR loop.
