Hi

when using batch rendering combined with scene states after rendering finishes, I can no longer edit materials in slate material editor so they have impact on scene. I have to eyedrop the material from scene and altough it is the same as in slate it is not instance but copy.

Can this be solved somehow?

I guess it is known limitation according to Autodesk“s website

"Materials must be reopened in the Material Editor after a scene state containing objects with material assignments is restored."

This issue is such a pain in the ass, it makes scene states and batch rendering almost unusable combo :[

I have never used scene states for anything else than testing how it works, but looking at other users' opinions it looks like this feature is so bugged/limited that it's almost useless.
