Could there be an official poll created for future material preset options?
Whilst the update is great theres still a fair few very basic architectural material presets missing such as stainless steel, Powdercoat metal and the biggest ive noticed is ceramic tile which im certain would be a very very widely used material given the user base is largely archviz.

Would be perhaps a great idea to put this to a vote or add the ability to allow user presets so some of the awesome community members can share presets themselves and have them populate a custom category.

Thanks :)

Hello,

TBH, I think the material library is already pretty great. While it will be improved in the future for sure (ability to handle user's mat files, for example), personally I'd rather get RenderLegion team to spend time on other things than creating new materials over and over again - that's endless. Isn't that also part of our job, creating shaders ? don't get me wrong, having ready-to-use materials is really great for sure, but to me, RL ressources shouldn't be spent too much on it neither. In a nutshell, a balance to find ;)

It is great, to have such a fantastic update.

But. ui would have to agree, more architectural materials, for everyday projects.
More Brick, plaster, cladding, steel, timber cladding, external paving,( I know there some of there, I would just clove to see more).

But I don't want to take away from the great work that has been done, as it is really great, thank you to the Corona team for all their hard work.

I mean fair point but it is those guys that decided to implement the presets its not as if its something we have forced them to do. All im saying is theres a few gaps that the user base would im sure find incredibly useful.
As i said the update is great and theres some super useful materials on there that i cant wait to use. Really hoped id see some RAL coat metal or ceramic tiles though!
