There's nothing wrong with clearing some issues. And speaking of, I already replied to what your soft shadow problem is. ;)

Yes, I sure did not explain well that it was a
free sample, if not, I think I would not have mounted it so that
anyone would get it.
My language is Spanish, and I have to use the translator to
write in the forum.
Surely it does not translate well and in some cases it is not well explained
ha ha ha ha ha ha

anyway!! It's good that the subject is taken again.
very attentive to see the solution.

Thanks for the data to download free hdri
regards

When I applied the HDRI to Corona light material, the shadows did not change. When increasing the emission, it is automatically inreasing everything which of course is not the thing I want to have.

I think it's best that you pass the file to the Corona team
for them to do tests and thus give us a solution

I couldn't agree more! ;) @zbieraj, if you can send us the file that would be great, the private uploader link is in my signature below. Thanks,

I have also problems with too soft shadows. Do you know guys what is wrong?
Okay I have looked at your scene and to be honest I do not see anything wrong with the shadows. They are soft because the sun in the HDRI is covered by high-level cirrus clouds. Even in the test image from hdrihaven the shadows are somewhat soft/diffused also. If you're after sharper shadows, I'd suggest choosing a different hdri.

Hi guys. While ago i made this exterior scene using free HDRi maps from Viz-People. Now, some time later i tried to render it again and this is what i get now, no visible shadows, no lights, i mean you can see the difference. I'm using Beta - 1 version now. The previous one was some daily build version. The good one is with a little bit of post work.

I'm interested in your case, because the same thing happened to me.
you could pass your file to the Corona team to see
why the same hdri but in Beta 2 drastically changes the lighting.
Thank you

By any chance, did the scenes use LightMix? And if so, are you viewing the same pass in the VFB (the Beauty, or the LightMix, depending)? I discovered recently that on render, the VFB was automatically selecting the LightMix and not the Beauty on initial render (presumably because the scene was saved with the LightMix open) - on a related note, then opening a scene that didn't have LightMix had the VFB default to the Direct pass rather than the Beauty.

Thought I'd ask you to check what pass you are viewing / saving from the VFB, just in case it's what you are running into (as, assuming you had the scene set up with the HDRI in a CoronaLight material and not in any other sort of material, there should be no change)

I think OP's case was solved long time ago:

Yep, that was something with the map itsefl. I downloaded them again and it's all good.
