I'm running Beta1 on a Mac r19. I see Corona has Camera and Object motion blur and it renders fine. In this scene, there is a car rolling along a road. There are a few cameras and they follow the car as it passes by. Since the camera is tracking the car, the car itself should be in focus, but the background and the wheels should have some blur.

Is there any way to apply a motion blur to certain objects for effect? In previous versions of C4D, you could apply motion blur tags on only the objects you needed to blur.

Doesn't seem possible that I know of. Obviously, the best way to avoid unnecessary mb is to keep the object stationary or it's movement to a minimal.

If the camera is tracking the car, the car should be in focus still (not motion blurred) - I would try it with "Enable camera" and "Enable objects" checked for Motion Blur in the render settings dialog (this should, as far as I know, ensure the camera motion is taken into account when calculating the motion blur - though you could try disabling the "Enable camera" to see if that makes a difference if you don't get the desired result).

Like most things Corona, a "per object" setting is not physically realistic, so there isn't such an option :)

As Tom said, this should work fine with both checkboxes enabled.

I came across the exact same problem. I am also running Mac with R19. I tried using Target tag for camera orientation as well as manual tracking (example below), with the camera following moving car at constant speed. The car is blurry as if it was stationary and only camera was moving. Both options "Enable Camera" and "Enable Objects" ticked. See examples below:

The only walk around I can think of would be to move the whole "world" and keep the vehicle stationary.
