When objects have curved surfaces the edges are visible. I have tried several different surfaces, with different scales, from a simple sphere to more complex objects. It always happens the same, on hard & flat surfaces it looks OK. If I increase the value of the spread it is more noticeable, but even if the spread did not change the effect is subtle but visible, and it does not change or improve by increasing or subdividing the geometry. In some situations I can improve the effect by increasing the "Ray Directionality", in other situations it does not work, or it modifies the effect and it is not feasible. What am I doing wrong? I use 3D Max 2016 An Build V2 27 2018, but it happens the same in 1.7.2, & 1.7.3. Sorry for my English. Thanks.
