Hi Everyone

Since I installed 1.7.4 (3ds max) on all our render nodes, I got this crazy error..! none of render farm nodes, renders the scene with lights.
they just render HDRi maps..!
then I rolled back to 1.7.3.... and everything is working perfectly..!

Thanks.
cheers.

Are you sure that you have Corona 1.7 hotfix 4 and DR server 1.7 hotfix 4  installed on all of the computers?

So there was a scene made with Corona 1.7.3 and you installed 1.7.4. After this, in 1.7.4, the scene renders with no lights?

-what kind of lights are they? (Corona lights, 3ds max lights?)
-how exactly are you rendering this scene? (how are you using Deadline?)
-which version of Deadline are you using?

Yes, a scene with Corona 1.7.3 and i installed 1.7.4. even a simple scene ( a teapot + a Plane + Corona light).

-Corona Lights
-submitting jobs via deadline script in max (official script)
* also using Corona distributed render with slaves ( Corona 1.7.4) same problem.
- Deadline 10.0.11.1 Licensed

Thank you,
Cheers.

Does this mean that the issue with no lights also happens when using Corona's DR only, without Deadline?
Or only when using Deadline WITH Corona's DR?

Random idea:
Try cleaning the licensing files as instructed in point 3 here: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000015667

yes, even using Corona's DR only.

There is no Lic error, they do render normal if I open 3ds max and load scene locally.

Hi Maru

Sorry for the delay, a bit busy days here.
No, I didn't try to do cleaning Lic files, cuz our render farm is working 24/7. :D
I will let you know as soon as possible.

Cheers.

Hello, any news about this issue? Have you tried cleaning the license files? Or maybe it was just a one time issue specific to one scene?
