Is it possible to use Distributed Rendering in the Corona Interactive viewport in 3ds Max? I think not, but can people confirm me wrong or right. Thanks!

Not possible at this time, since DR involves sending the scene to all nodes, which takes time and so would make IR not Interactive any more.

I think Corona, soon or later, must to have this option, like V-Ray has from the beginning of IR.
Yes, you have to wait more at the beginning, but it can save a lot of time during rendering setup.

i dont know how vray do that but i heard something like this somewhere: theoretically having distributed IR is not impossible, it will stay interactive as long as user doesnt change the scene's asset (object/texmap/etc), but if asset changing happens then a delay will be occur because of the process of sending the current scene to all DR nodes. i may be wrong though
after all we have the great Ondra who like to solve everything out of the box as long as there is a coffee near his keyboard :)
