C4D hang after few pass

HI,

I tried to find old post... but not found in hurry.

This first time with me.... C4D hangs after few passes, it happened in two jobs, one after 32 passes and other after 9 passes.
Any Corona setting/parameters to check...?

What exactly are you rendering, a still, animation? Does it happen in the same spot for this file or is it random? Lastly, can you share the file for others to test?

It is still, simple scene a paper square bottle. both scenes stopped at random and after restart c4d... renders fine. sharing file... it will be hard.

Mostly I do 5K render at night... start render and go to bed, morning scene ready. I am afraid if it happens are night when doing 5K render, may be I will die then. ....!

Earlier it was fine. I downloaded last day beta 1 and installed in iMac.

I don't think you'll die, Or at least hope not anyway ;) I'm not sure if this is a Corona thing or C4D/Mac/RAM issue. Have you tried doing a tiled render to lighten the load? Without the file it's really hard to say or pin point the problem. Are you using Lightmix with the renders?

I dont think its Mac Issue, no bump, no special material, just label and 32gb ram good for small object render (attached).

ahhhh... Light mix, this have another issue, if I use it... it does not save background layer in psd layered file, so I am not using it.

2 files renders at 2K... both hang at different passes, something wrong, it was not earlier. Request to developer to recheck it and the download link installer is revised or it is older 23-8 released installer....?

No, I thought it might come in handy for larger renders ie: 5K. ;)

Why don't you follow the advice and instead make the same mistake over and over again?
The tiled camera could have saved you.

Whole week it was fine... who knows it will hang at weekend.
Tiled camera is a option.... I will give a try...!
