They will generally be noisier and take longer to clean up than scenes that don't use volumetrics. Also, high directionality lights can have more noise than one with lower directionality, but high directionality may be needed for the light in volumetrics depending on the look you are going for so this could be unavoidable and just need more passes. You could also look into whether Single bounce only was checked and whether you can use that, as that will speed things up greatly (may take as many passes to get rid of noise, not sure on that, but the passes will be faster at least :) )

A higher GI vs AA balance will likely help, since it makes GI and light noise clean up faster (at the expense of anti-aliasing). Denoising will help. You could also look into using Sharpening and Blurring too.

What Tom said + you can increase the light samples multiplier. The passes will render a bit slower, but the noise will be visibly decreased.

Lots of options, could use an IES profile in a Corona Light, or to avoid extra noise from using directionality / IES profile and if high physical accuracy is not a concern, you might use a 3ds Max Photometric light set to spotlight.

Thanks Tom for IES idea.
Although IES files are not with Corona installer... I tried some from c4d library and some google... not getting any effect of its profile.
Would you like to recommend any IES files ...?

Thanks.

Most or all IES files should work - be sure to check the box next to the filename to enable IES, just loading a file won't activate it on its own (I forget about that sometimes too :) )

Image attached - the Keep sharp patterns is optional, I just happen to have it enabled here!

They are a bundle provided by Real IES for inclusion with the Corona installer - they are in the Max installation. However, any IES should work - if you have an example one that is not working for you, you could always send it over privately (if it is one that you can't share), and I can test it here because they all ought to work (and if they don't, that would be a bug :) ). There are also a lot of IES files available for free out there, e.g. from light fitting manufacturers.

If it helps: they are in the C4D installation, too.

That does help :) I am never sure where I got things installed from lol, since always running all the installers... hmm a re-used Blues Brothers quote I guess, "We got both kinds - we got Max AND Cinema 4D!"

You can also create your own ies files with this: https://www.vertheim.com/ies-generator.html

really easy to use:
