Hello Everyone,

This is my first ever post in the forums so I'm pretty excited about that :)

I would like to share with you some visuals I did for my MA in stage design. We have to choose and design 3 plays till the summer and that's my first one called ''Waiting for Godot''

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and promise to keep you posted with my work. All done with 3ds Max and Corona, I didn't have to do any post production since Corona Image Editor is so damn powerful ;)

Some info about the play:
Waiting for Godot is a play by Samuel Beckett, in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, wait for the arrival of someone named Godot who never arrives, and while waiting they engage in a variety of discussions and encounter three other characters.

That's a really interesting project. I'll be looking forward to the rest of the sets.
I have never though about 3d software being used for theater stage design, and I think it makes a lot of sense as stages are more "hermetic" than for example architectural interiors (think about that black walls and no lights around). I also do not recall any similar projects. It could be an attractive business opportunity. :)

Thank you for the great feedback. I was surprised when I found out that most universities/colleges still using physical models instead of 3d software for theater stage design. It's so much easier and faster to express your vision and explore the space on a 3d software compared to a real physical model and with the power of LightMix you have the creative freedom to tell your story and change the lighting conditions from day to night with one single render. I should look deeper on that exciting new business opportunity and will keep you posted with the rest of the sets :)

Really good concept, and a breeze of fresh air among the usual house in the forest projects.
Keep it up!
