Hi,
I guess (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) this is normal - it's just the way Corona mats are represented in the viewport currently. Until we get better viewport materials, there are some workarounds that can help us see what's going on in the scene a bit better:
1) Create temporary material overrides:
https://vimeo.com/661882322) Assign C4D native materials in a separate take (and use this take for modelling)
3) Toggle texture display (N~Q)
4) Get HB Modelling Bundle - it makes creating viewport material overrides a bit easier/faster
5) For all glass objects, use Display Tags and switch on "Lines" shading mode
Any other ideas people?
Have a great New Year:)
Cheers
