Now this would be awesome for anyone using nuke or similar on the compositing side:

Keymaster. How hard could be to implement this?

Just wanted to bump this topic up. This is really needed feature while we havn't chance to quickly render DoF in straight way. Look at this: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,6220.0.html

And nearly the one to reach clean DoF.
Our tests with simple but difficult scene in topic above gave us very dissapointing results with Corona AA algorithm. There are no ways to reach clean DoF in reasonable amount of time.

Hi Ondra,

any news on Deep EXR Support for 1.7? Getting a clean DOF with nice highlights (with no over the top flickering) is still fairly difficult to get using regular z-depth and with DOF rendering as well (too long and very flickery for animation).

Kindly let us know where we're at with this.
Cheers,
RB

hi,
sorry, it seems 1.7 is already overpacked with features, so there just wont be any extra time to do this fairly complex feature
