Hi there fellow Corona Users,

I´ve been lurking this forum for quite a while now and thought I try to get some feedback from a pretty active community, compared to other forums.

I started this project 4 or 5 years ago and abandoned and reworked it a couple of times since then, I think even anually :D

This time I want to finally finish it.
The attached image is the current status.
I`m "done" in a way, that I can`t think of anything else to add or change...but I have the feeling, that there`s still something missing (That`s why I´m posting in the wip section)

What do you guys think?
Any kind of feedback and c&c is appreciated. Perspective? Composition? Light? Materials?
What would you change? What would you leave the way it is?

Cheers!

It depends on what is your idea of the image, but for me here are some things that could be done:

-decide about the specific atmosphere you would like to visualize - dirty, cold, suburbs, or maybe clean, sterile look, or how about 80's-style lots of glow and contrast like in VHS videos or "retro wave" images? Right now I would say it lacks the definite atmosphere.
-more dirt and details like the fallen leaves
-more life - maybe the car could have emergency lights on, or dim light in the cabin, some of the windows could be lit up, how about some (possibly blurry) passer-by?

It looks very cool

What about maybe : A bug or two circling those street light with some motion blur
: Its such an atmospheric scene how about maybe a couple walking by (It looked like it rained , maybe some people with umbrellas )

All in all just a bit more life ..
And try a camera angle straight from the front ( lets just see how it looks )

Edit: Oh and some bloom and glare with volumetrics would give awesome feeling to all the neon lights

Just my 2c

Thanks for the feedback, I had time to get back at it last week and implemented some of your ideas.

Although I like that 80`s neon style, I think it would be to much here. I added some more leaves and dirt. There are cigarette butts all over the sidewalk...just so tiny :D

The first camera I had set up in this scene (couple years ago^^) was actually one from the front, and it looked kind of flat :/

I also added more lights and people passing by (free models from xoio) and I do like it, but maybe it`s too much? Nevertheless, I´m calling it done, before I loose interest again :D

Thanks!

Yeah, it looks better with the couple. For sure it could have more "edge" but it looks cool anyway. I would just change those white lanterns :)

Probably when you see it again after several years you will remake it again. :)
