Hi everybody, been using Corona 1.7 on my last projects and I've noticed few issues.
Don't know if these are bugs or something with my setup.

- When rendering (single workstation or DR) noise level reaches to around 5%, then jumps at 2-3% than back to 5%. I remember somebody mentioned this issue in 1.7 Daily builds thread
I didn't notice if this has any effect on final render quality in terms of creating some errors...

- When rendering with DR, Albedo pass and sometimes Wire color pass have strange issues like in image attached

- On some scenes IR takes long time to start during large scene parsing time when using proxys or IToo Forest, there is also few seconds of Max not responding,
maybe this is normal due to large amount of geometry but it seems to me things were running smoother in previous releases, once started IR has ok response

- Corona camera gets pretty hard to select in viewport, especially when there are  lots of objects in the scene, once selected it takes few moments for options to show up in Command panel, noticeably longer than standard camera

All scenes use only corona materials and lights, render settings are default,  new light solver is turned off.

My setup is: Xeon 52630v4 with 64gb ram as workstation, three I7 computers as render nodes, Win7, Max 2014 SP6

Hi, we have a few similar reports, with render elements "mixed" with some blurry image looking a bit like the sampling focus mask, but we are not yet sure what exactly is causing this.
Have you already contacted us about this through the support portal? I recall a similar image, but maybe it was just similar.

Are you sure you are not rendering from a Vray camera?

The best thing you could do is sending us the scene (https://corona-renderer.com/upload) and submitting a report about this at https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
Then our developers will look into this. The hardest part is reproducing the issue on our end.

Thanks for reply Maru.
I did post same image on another forum thread so you've probably seen it there.
Scenes are rendered from standard or corona camera.

I did few test this morning. Problem with Albedo pass appears as soon as VFB starts receiving updates from DR nodes.
So I tried rendering with workstation and only one node at a time, turns out problems appear with just one specific node.
I tried reinstalling corona on it bud it didn't help.
Problem appears on few different scenes so I don't thing is scene related but has to do something with DR.
Anyway, I'll post one of the scenes as you suggested.

Any comments on other issues mentioned in first post, could noise level issue be somehow related to this?

I somehow missed this thread. The issue with render elements "mixed" with some other data should be already fixed in the latest 1.7 hotfix 2 version - https://corona-renderer.com/download/
The "strips" when rendering the sample focus element through DR are actually expected.

Sorry for reopening such an old thread, but we have some news regarding the issue with noise level fluctuations. According to our tests, and tests from users who reported similar issues, the noise level is now reported correctly, and there are no fluctuations during rendering. We are talking about Corona Renderer 3 Hotfix 2 (currently the newest release), and version 4 daily builds.
