If you Tell me its an issue with good old Deadline 7 we will have a big reason to upgrade.

At the moment a camera with a distortion set (Physical, Lumiere, or even The new Corona Camera) will only render fine locally, as on the farm the distortion will be calculated for each tile. this looks funny after tile assembly but it is not usable in production this way :-(


any suggestions? clould someone with Deadline 10 test this please?

the most important thing: is it a corona or a Deadline Bug?

hm, are you able to reproduce the problem when using 3dsmax render region? I guess that is what deadline is using to do tiles

I can now officially verify that a regular 3DsMax Crop will produce the same - wrong - result. So it would be very helpful to get a little update soon to make it not only compatible with crops but also tiels in Deadline.

Hi, JFYI Deadline tiles (or Jigsaw based renderings) are rendered with the Area to Render set to Crop option (definitely in Deadline 7). Deadline devs have recently decided to automatically switch to Region option when using Corona as the renderer. I am not sure whether this has been already implemented (probably not) since there were some Draft related problems with such change.
