Hello,
I'have 12 single picture to render, each in it's own .max file..
I would like to use backburner and my 3 nodes DR to render them...
is it possible? is it working well?
Thank you.

Yes it works fine. Keep in mind that if you submit a BB job with DR activated in render settings (this gets saved to the scene), the BB job picks up the other configured nodes for (internal) Corona DR which is not always what you want. Usually (there are exceptions) you would render one cam/frame per node using BB, so Corona DR should be deactivated when using BB.

Hello,
Thank you!!
@ Frood: as my english is what it is, I'm not sure I understand your explanation ... even with a translater online. :)

I finally managed to set up BB !! it works .. but only on 2 nodes, the third is visible in the VFB, but never calculates? !!!

I also had a bug ... I started the calculation of 8 views .. the first two are well left .. but the third has crashed twice before starting to make ... ????

I also don't understand how the "on" and "off" of BB works .. when I "submit" my scene in 3DS, the render starts ... I am forced to make "pause" in the "monotor" .. so when I have eight scenes to open, set, submit, and close it's long, it makes BB crash ...

There may be an issue with my english :) I wanted to point out that you should not mix the two complete different aproaches for now: Backburner and Corona DR - until you know what you are doing.

So when submitting a BB job (via Render Setup -> Target: -> Submit to Network rendering) you should have Render Setup -> System -> Distributed Rendering switched off.

I also don't understand how the "on" and "off" of BB works .. when I "submit" my scene in 3DS, the render starts ... I am forced to make "pause" in the "monotor"

Make sure you submit the job with "Server Usage" -> "Use selected" in the Network Job Assignment window and assign the job(s) only to nodes on which you want to render (do not tick "Use All Servers" here).

Good Luck
