It would be cool if you could use the multimap as a switch for a color range as well.
There are occasions where you want to keep a pallette of colors - i.e. product colors - and its not always you want to have the colors selected randomly - in other words you could use the CoronaMultiMap as a placeholder for a number of colors - a pallette - and you could select one of them as THE color; but being able to easily switch between the predefined colors.
I know it can be done by making a small map holding the whole palette - and then selecting a color by cropping to the area with the wanted color  - but .... :O)

Hi. If the multimap is set to "instances" then this can be done by setting the value for THE chosen color to 1 and everybody else to 0.

I know this isn't an optimal solution, but it's a workaround in some cases.

Probably can be done by assigning multimap colors by material ID or object ID? Moving to resolved.
