Hi guys,

The last week I worked on a night scene of a bar. The problem that appear is that all my images have a dull color profile (see image), no matter how i change temperature/ intesity of the lights or change the material properties. Does anyone have experience with the same problem and can help me out? The second image is the desired result ;)

Many thanks.

Your rendering appears perfectly normal (what I would expect to see), so I am not really sure how to understand your post. What exactly do you mean by "dull color profile"? Can you post an example of what you are getting vs what you would like to get?

I agree with Maru, this is pretty much what you would see IRL with that kind of lighting setup. A lot of those glitzy magazine night shots are very heavily post processed.

One thing you could try is changing your light temperatures in certain groups of lights (rather than keeping them all the same temperature) or experimenting in light mix with the light groups.
Vray who?

Agree with this, looks correct to me. If you want things to pop out more like in your example, just some quick color grading on your rendered image goes a long ways (Check attachments)
