Max 17, Corona 1.7
I have a render and its been stuck cleaning up overnight. Is it possible that this is because my DR nodes are on an older version (1.6.2)

Thanks
Jack

Well, yes. The same version of Corona and DR server should always be used on all PCs.

Problem is theres more than just me using the render farm and i dont want to be pushing RCs onto every other pc in my department and on the nodes until theres an actual release.

So you can just downgrade to 1.6, or wait for 1.7 release, right?

I can personally but the scenes im working on with the RCs wont work will they?
Its not a massive problem but one maybe people should be aware of. I havent had this one before but ive often had different versions on the farm but i suppose with this being a bigger release theres bound to be more compatibility issues.
No problem though thanks for confirming my suspicions :P

Should work with the latest RCs (see changelog). Right at the moment I do the same: Working with RC8 and submitting jobs to the 1.6.1 farm (not DR).

As long as you don't use new stuff like cCam/cBumpConverter there should be no problem. But as allways: Don't do this for final production/having deadlines :)

Good Luck
