Hello guys, i have next problem.
I would to create snow scene with particle emitter and motion blur.
When i set particles amount >20 and enable motion blur, corona is crashed. But if i decrease particles amount, motion blur works fine.
Corona version from october 13th.
Can i solve this problem? Sorry for my english)

Hi, the best idea would be to share the problematic scene with us, or at least the crash report. Then our brave developer would look into it.

This is my test scene.
Particle amount=15
Shutter speed =1/15
Corona crashed.
If I set particle amount =10
Shutter speed =1/15
Work fine.
If
Particle amount=15
Shutter speed =1/60
also it works.

I get the same crash - however I notice something else odd too, in the renders (when it doesn't crash), the particles are different in the render than in the viewport. I swapped to the Standard render engine, and then the particles appear in the same place when rendered and in the viewport. So perhaps something happening with how Corona is integrating with the particle system, which may or may not be related to this crash.

TomG Thanks for testing. Are developers reading topics?

Sorry for that little joke :-)

Well, what can I say... We are aware of the issue, but none of us got to it yet. I'll see what I can do and hopefully I'll have some time to look at it today. Thanks for the scene, BTW!

So I just tried it and I reproduced the crash, so it should be fixed soon.

About what Tom reported (different particle positions), I get different positions in Viewport vs. Corona, but also Viewport vs. Standard or Viewport vs. Physical. I think that this might be how particles work, given that you can even have a different number of particles in Viewport vs. the renderer.

Hi,

I tested your scene with the latest beta, and it works. Can you confirm it please?

Thank you
Nikola
