Hi

I have used a the script for exporting a VR to a folder.
It works fine on a pc , and with google and explorer.

if I link the files to a dropbox folder and double click  the html and it won't work.
It would be very handy to be able to send clients a link whether on an Android and iphone.

Does anybody know a way around this?

Thank you

philip

Is there a solution to this or am I wasting my time thinking about it.
I would like to send a google cardboard headset to a client and let them link in to a folder and see their rooms?

Maybe i am wrong i am not pro in web stuff, but afaik this services did not work this way, scripts can't see files in the same folder, so they won't open image. you need your host or up ftp server on your pc, also should be online services for hosting files but not file sharing services.
Dropbox was working like this and could be used for site hosting but not now.

Thank you very much for the response.

So can I ask, what are people doing when sending clients images.

Most clients are everyday people i have , if they have a smartphone or laptop that's it.
So to send VR of a room, an extension to a house for example, or a office space.,as opposed to doing an animation, this seems more cost productive.

Whats the easiest and most idiot proof way.

Thank you .

You can find more by google it not VR but "360 image" it's more appropriate name.
I am not sure what the easiest way but you can upload image at facebook.
-you will need to render 360 spherical image
-this tool for example, for changing exif data http://www.colorpilot.com/exif.html
-open an image in Exif Pilot and write camera model - RICOH THETA S
camera manufacturer - RICOH
- save image and upload at facebook
it will recognize spherical image, also can be uploaded 360 video at facebook or youtube
