3ds Max 2016.
Just downloaded the Daily build version of Corona 1.7 RC4 after failing previously with RC3.

I have a simple carpet mesh with a hair and fur modifier on it. The hair is coming off as the dafault color and not taking the material from the base object. The effects panel is set to geometry but it still has no effect.

Could you help me with a workaround?

this is correct behavior - there is material slot in the modifier that gets properly parsed

oh, I was following the tutorial on youtube hence the confusion. Thanks for the prompt reply!

I added the bitmap to slots and it worked fine.
