Hello there !
I need to do an exterior archviz animation for a client and although I saw the "saving UHD tutorial " I am wondering if there is a trick for the "PT + PT " method  in order to save some time .
A  test I did this morning , for a 820 x 460 pixel  frame took about 7 minutes on an intel 6850k ...meaning that for 300 frames (10 sec animation, 30fps) I need 2100 minutes = 35 hours ! Am I missing something here ? First time I try an animation with corona though ...

Thanks a lot

I deleted the proxies (40 trees and about 50 sqm of grass) and now every frame is super fast ...
the trees are from evermotion (corona archmodels 1) so the materials are ok I suppose ,
any other ideas to make the render time a bit faster ?

Hi, check this thread out:

It is also possible that your trees have wrong materials - they should definitely NOT use refraction for the leaves.

If there are no moving objects or lights in your scene, you may actually try saving the UHD Cache and re-using it for all frames if it speeds up your rendering compared to PT+PT. But generally for exteriors PT+PT should work fine.

Send it to an external render farm, it will save a you a lot of time and money and stress.
