Hi,
Just tried Corona for first time on a commercial job, rendering out 3D floorplans,
looks great in the Corona VFB with with LUT & tone mapping applied,
what is best way to save out so when opening in PS it looks like it did in VFB, max gamma is 2.2, currently when i open image (png) in PS it is dark and nothing like the Corona VFB

I have saved out as exr (half float) and then added exposure/sat/contrast filters in PS and it is close to the Corona VFB image but not same,
appreciate any help,
thanks,

Hi,

The problem is like you don't have a correct Gammera Setting.

You can use this script to solve.

http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/gamma-settings-for-3ds-maxdesign-2014

Set the input and output gamma to 2.2.

Hope it works.

Thanks, I should have mentioned, I'm using Max2015 and from a previous vray vfb I had changed the OutputGamma=2.2 in the currentdefaults config file, (Input is also 2.2) is there anything within the Corona settings that I should enable/disable?

Not sure if it was a conversion issue but reset max and set to system gamma and now works as it should
