Hi there,

Corona for Cinema4d is progressing and it's almost ready for end of the year.

We are hoping that the community will grow fast as well! with fully compatible 3D models of all kind (furniture, vegetation...)

So let's see what will happen for us C4D users in the future :)

Regards
Pat

We don't need obj or fbx files, but ready to use 3d models with corona materials , faster workflow, no?

That was actually a joke.

I personally am not a fan of this but I understand that in certain situations, with the deadline coming closer, prefabs might be necessary.
Sure I do download some models out of curiosity or to study them but in the end, especially if it's personal work, I'd rather create my own.

This is not directed at you or anyone in particular.
Over the time, I've just seen too many people using the same files(even full content library scenes, just rerendered) again and again and bragging...
Or people scattering other people's models which have a non-commercial license and not bothering giving them a hint of a unique touch and making money from those. I call those images  "collages of other people's works".  Not even crediting the people. That I can't stand.
Nature scans are the only things that don't bother me as they are created by nature and captured.

So I'm a bit sensitive on that topic.
Sorry for the rant, just had to let it out.

Thanks Eddoron for your inputs.
You are maybe right about this and I understand your approach.
But we C4D users need more ready to use 3D models as it is for max users now.

I just hope it will happen soon or later with Corona :)

anyway, if you need good 3d models of classic furniture, this link is my favorite, and they will probably support corona for C4D in the future.
