High-resolution rendering freezes PC

Hi,
I am unable to render hires images (eg 10 000 x 10 000 px) for prints even without any additional passes.
[35GB ram, i7 processor]
With default settings and only corona sky + sun + plane and teapot computer freeze.

It would be great to optimize render for such a resolutions.

In conjunction to this issue it would be great to implement option to only get small preview during rendering and save RAM instead of load everyting in buffer.

On this resolution (10K) set internal resolution to 1 (default by 2).
