Hello Friends,
Have any of you had problems with RebusFarm rendering?
I tried to render a scene from C4D with Corona render 6.4 but it doesn't show any output images.
The tech support don't gave me any solution, they told me that maybe I have problem with my corona version (They have 6.2) and I have to downgrade my corona to 6.2...

Can you help me please????

Best regards,

Can you explain what specific problems you are having? Without this information, it will be really hard to help you. ;)

If Rebus support were not able to help you, then it could be some kind of bug in Corona or a problem in your scene. Can you try rendering a simple test scene?

Hello Maru,
The problem is when I render the animation RebusRender farm don't give me any output images, they told me that the images are all black.
I tested another scene with a simple cube with a camera moving, I uploaded to the system with Rebusdrop app (All files are ok) and same thing (No output).
I asked for return my money to my paypal account and they did it.
I rendered a similar scene of the same project with CGIFarm and we don't have any problem.

Corona render version: B1 daily Aug 31 2017
Cinema version: CINEMA 4D

Thanks for your support.

If there were no problems on a different render farm, then this seems to be an issue specific to Rebus. In such case, I am sorry, but we will not be able to help, and you will need to discuss this issue with Rebus support (info@rebusfarm.net).
We will however notify Rebus about your report here.

Maru,
Don't worry, thanks for your support.
I tried to render same test image with basic C4D setting (Without Corona) and this work well (I can see and download all the output images).
There is an issue with the plugin in RebusFarm.

Best regards,

This is probably due to different versions of Corona on your system, and on the farm. I will now contact Rebus and suggest them to download various builds, however I can also understand it if they won't be very enthusiastic about it, since Corona for C4D is still an alpha version.

When Corona for 4d was quite new, I basically begged Rebusfarm to install the plugin.

Renderfarms usually wait until they're sure that the new versions of no matter what plugin they install works properly.
They can't afford people who spent a lot on render credits to get broken renders etc. This wouldn't be good for anyone. The tech guys would have to work more. people with deadlines complaining or wanting their money back.

If I owned a render farm, I'd also make sure everything that is installed is working properly or can be easily fixed. There's no sense in installing experimental releases and I highly doubt that you can find another farm that would do that.

They often are quite open to suggestions and are trying new plugins or releases but in the end, it depends on how satisfied they are with the performance of that build on their machines and is ultimately up to their judgment, what and when they can offer it as a service.
