My interactive render is stuck to one view of the scene. When i move around its still rendering the old view.
Tried closing and reopening but same behaviour.

Merged into a new file, all is fixed.
Weird.

Can you send us the problematic scene for debugging?

It seems to have gone away, I can if you still need it?

If you still have the original problematic scene where the issue still prevails, then it migth be useful.

To be honest, the result will most probably be either "it's a max bug, nothing to see here" or "nobody had the time to properly investigate this, sorry", but it's still worth a shot if it's not too much of a problem for you :)

jpjapers, are you sure you had not activated the lock in Render Setup? Looks like.

Good Luck

This sometimes happens when for example changing the viewport layout. The active viewport gets magically replaced with another one, and the effect is that the activated one is not visible.
To fix this just uncheck the lock button in F10, click around the viewports, select the one which you want to use, and then enable the lock button again.
